Warning plan in the event of an incident on the drinking water distribution network

Finally, once the incident is closed, the cell will issue a “return to normal” announcement message.

The successful management  of the crisis water tank refurbishment will depend, among other things, on the specialized knowledge of the recipients of the messages in the face of the crisis situation . The dissemination of messages will be limited to the technical and political leaders of the water operators selected on the basis of the predefined scenarios as well as to the particularly sensitive consumers listed in a specific database (health and social services establishments, health and social service establishments). education and the agri-food industry).

In the immediate future, the incident and alert management computer platform will not be used to inform the population of the health risks it incurs. The limited content of the messages could give rise to misinterpretation and the reaction to take a controversial turn difficult to control.

The recipients of the alert messages will have to enter the concise content of these and immediately implement the necessary relief provisions.
